Today I have another vendor profile for you…and this vendor specializes in YOU. By that I mean that Frances Quintanilla of Olive Oil Cafe & Gluten Free Pastries makes desserts that satisfy any sweet tooth- whether you’re vegan, gluten free, dairy free, nut free, etc. No more wishing you could have your cake and eat it too… Thanks to Frances, it’s possible.

Question: When did you start your business? How long have you been at the market?
Answer: The business opened in 2003, we’ve been at the market for 4-5 years. Q: Describe your business in one sentence.
A: The best desserts & sandwiches you’ll ever have! GUARANTEED!
Q: What is your favorite item on your “menu”?
A: Chocolate maple blondie,chocolate pecan pie, Oreo brownies Q: What is the most popular item on the “menu”? Purple carrot cake,blackberry cobbler, Oreo brownie, caramel s’mores, chocolate eclairs, all mini tortes Q: Do you have any new items you’re planning on featuring in the near future?
A: Every week we have 5-8 new flavors!
Q: Tell me a surprising fact about yourself or your business.
A: I’m the strongest woman you’ll ever meet & take a lot of pride in all my desserts & my business. Q: What is another vendor at the market that you frequent? What do you get there?
A: Mama pop lemonade, guacamole, salsa, Sage mountain farms, Green Truck, JR Organics, Green Fix, Spring Hill Cheese, The Cravory, Ranchwood Deli, Charlie’d Bread, Pub Cakes.. the list goes on!! I love food! I’m a foodie! !!! I get Anything that catches my eye
Q: Is there anything else you’d like the blog community to know? A: We’re opening up a second location on SDSU CAMPUS late August 2014. We are looking for artisan bread bakers, cashiers,dishwashers,sandwich assemblers,and market vendors. Please send resumes firstname.lastname@example.org. Positions need to be filled ASAP.
I have to say one of my favorite things about this bakery is that they are so incredibly conscious about fitting your exact diet that they created a stick system. Then you can be sure you can stick to doctor’s orders while indulging in a delicious dessert.
