This is by far the best I've seen, and I've been to several throughout the County and even one in Boston. The food is abundant, seasonal and fresh. Prices are sometimes high, but the quality of the food is great. I love the flowers and they are more affordable than the grocery stores. The city block of prepared foods is varied and tasty. I especially love the granola and granola bars made lovingly by Janet at Grammy's Granola...

I absolutely adore the Hillcrest Farmers Market! The ambiance is amazing - the smell of freshly cooked ethnic foods and the sounds of local musicians are the backdrop for incredible selections from farmers and craftsmen. The only downside is finding somewhere to eat if you decide to lunch here, but relax and have a seat on the grass :) It's worth it.
